Scotch Broom Challenge – April 4 – FREE
April 4 @ South Yuba River State Park, Bridgeport
Scotch broom is a non-native invasive weed that has become rampant throughout the Sierra foothills – especially Nevada County. It is highly flammable, whether it is dead or alive. Removing it reduces the risk of catastrophic fire. Join SYRCL’s River Avengers and help remove this species from our watershed!

2020 State of the Yuba – April 22 – FREE

Like the President’s annual address, SYRCL’s annual “State of the Yuba” serves as a report to the citizens of the Yuba watershed on the condition of the river, to outline SYRCL’s priorities for the coming year, and most importantly, enlist all river lovers in the protection and restoration of the Yuba. This FREE event is for all members of the community who care about the Yuba River and want to know more about SYRCL’s efforts to protect the watershed.
