Winter at the Yuba River: A Soundtrack

Winter is traditionally a time of slowing down, cuddling up, and resting. Here at SYRCL we are still out monitoring the river and our restoration projects, making plans for next year’s events, following the latest developments affecting the watershed, and getting ready for the 2024 Wild & Scenic Film Festival in mid-February.

In celebration of the season, SYRCL’s Community Engagement Manager and KVMR DJ, Maddie Davis, has put together a playlist of evocative songs from both local and international artists to listen either when you are out at the river or snuggled up at home.

Soft flakes landing on rushing waters, you can see your breath in the air. Tunes to take you through the winter’s chill overlooking the Yuba River.
