Spring at the Yuba River: A Soundtrack

Wildflowers on hillsides, cool wind in your hair, the scent of lavender and fresh rain in the air. Spring is traditionally a time of growth and rejuvenation. Here at SYRCL, we are gearing up for getting back to all of our restoration projects throughout the watershed, planning our State of the Yuba event for April 17th, getting our River Ambassador program set for the start of River Season, and keeping an eye on local and national issues and policies that will have an impact on the Yuba.

In celebration of the season, SYRCL’s Community Engagement Manager and KVMR DJ, Maddie Davis, has put together a playlist of evocative songs from both local and international artists. Tunes to take you out of winter and into the bright sun of spring – perfect for an early morning walk on the South Yuba Trail or a dinner time picnic at Bridgeport.
