Attention Youth: Share Your Story of Climate Change

How has climate change impacted your life? 

As a young person, your voice is important and can contribute to mobilizing change. Climate change affects people around the globe in different ways, but the fact is, climate change is impacting us.

In celebration of Earth Month, the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) invites you to share your story with the community.  We hope that by curating your stories and providing a platform from which to share them, we’ll begin to understand the diverse ways in which we’re impacted and how we’ll need to work together as a community to adapt, change, advocate and thrive.

Students of all ages are invited to share their story, in written form 500-words or less, by Monday, April 30.  Stories will be published online at yubariver.org and shared via SYRCL’s social media and e-newsletter.
