Directed by CJ Russo, Lady Buds tells the story of six women who, following the legalization of cannabis, leave the illegal underground market to carve out a place for themselves in the new commercial industry.

How You Can Get Involved in Opposing the ID-MD Mine
SYRCL announced its formal opposition of the Idaho-Maryland Mine in 2021 in large part due to our deep concern over the impacts reopening the mine could have on water quality and flows. MineWatch NC is leading the community in this opposition

Visitor Impacts Survey Results
In October 2021, SYRCL released a Visitor Impacts Survey that asked respondents questions about the activities they support at the river, their concerns related to increased visitation, and the measures they would like to see put into place in order to address the ever-growing number of people coming to visit the Yuba.
The report includes not only the results of the survey, but SYRCL’s recommendations moving forward. SYRCL presented this information to the Yuba River Public Safety Cohort in February 2022 in order to inform future decisions about infrastructure, enforcement, and visitor education campaigns.

Restoration & Redds: Findings from our 2021 Survey
Spring run chinook salmon are a threatened species on the Yuba. The restoration project at the Rose Bar project site is focused on enhancing the amount and quality of spawning habitat. Redd surveys provide quantifiable restoration results in addition to supplying an index of how the salmon population is doing.

Return to the River You Love
Last year, SYRCL asked Yuba River lovers to write love letters to the Yuba. There are many ways to express love for the yuba and we received uniquely heartfelt and creative submissions. We were so moved, that we are inviting you to revisit them with us.
