The Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival is excited to be presenting two evenings of films this year at the 14th annual California WorldFest which is held this year July 15-18, 2010 at the Grass Valley Fairgrounds.

Friday, July 16th, 6-7:30 p.m.:

Gain a global, environmental perspective with films from around the world…learn about conservation efforts in Africa, a family wheat farm in Canada, citizen action groups along Puerto Rico’s coastline, paradigm shifts in Sweden and a photography campaign in British Columbia that saved a mountain.

Saturday, July 17th, 6-7:30 p.m.:

This family friendly program will have the kids singing, laughing and feeling inspired. The youth of our nation are already hearing the call to action and are mobilizing their young comrades to do more than just recycle!

The festival features eight stages of music and dance from around the world, camping with family and friends, workshops, international food, fine crafts, and a renowned children’s program.  Celebrate mid-summer with SYRCL and California WorldFest under the cool, tall pines of the Sierra foothills.
