Federal regulators are accepting public comments on a proposal to study a 750-megawatt pumped-storage project on Fish Creek, a tributary of the Wild and Scenic South Yuba River. A preliminary permit would not authorize construction, but it would give the developer, RamaFlux Sierra PSH, priority to pursue a license. That makes now the moment to put your questions on the federal record.
A short, specific letter in your own words counts for more than a long one copied from someone else. Tell FERC who you are, what your connection to Fish Creek and the Yuba is, and what you want the studies to answer.
How to submit your letter
- Go to ferconline.ferc.gov/QuickComment.aspx.
- Enter your name, email, and mailing address. FERC will email you a link to confirm.
- Search for docket P-15429 and select it.
- Type your comment (up to 10,000 characters) and submit. You may want to write your comment in advance and then paste it in the box provided.
Deadline: 2:00 pm Pacific on Monday, November 30, 2026.
