Video on SYRCL’s Aspen Regeneration Project

Check out the new video on SYRCL’s first successful citizen-engaged Aspen Regeneration Project, that was in collaboration with Tahoe National Forest.  This fabulous partnership included the removal of encroaching conifers from Aspen tree patches that were struggling for light. The volunteers, SYRCL staff and a Tahoe National Forest official had a wonderful time performing restoration together, providing more light for the Aspen trees.  We restored an overall of 3.5 acres combined at Rucker Lake and Loney Meadow!!
