SYRCL’s Wild For The Yuba: A Recap and Thanks

Share with Your People

On June 8th, SYRCL held its Wild for the Yuba event at the Schrammsberg Estate in Nevada City. This annual SYRCL fundraiser raises money for its scholarship fund and outdoor Education and Outreach Programs, like River Ambassadors and the Yuba River Cleanup.

This year, Wild for the Yuba showcased delicious food served by A Family Affair Catering and outstanding music by jamgrass local favorites Broken Compass Bluegrass. The event also featured a competitive silent auction and a spirited live auction hosted by a dapper-dressed auctioneer, Aaron Zettler-Mann, SYRCL’s Executive Director.

In amidst all the fun, food, and frivolity, current SYRCL Board President George Olive and past President Dr. Roger Hicks presented former SYRCL Board Member John Regan with a “Guardian of the Yuba” award, celebrating all that he tirelessly gave to help build SYRCL into what it is today.

SYRCL staff would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended, bid on items, and helped raise funds for our important work. We offer a very special thank you to our 2024 Wild for the Yuba Sponsors and our Auction Donors
