Support Your State Parks, Tuesday, June 14

Tuesday, June 14, 2011, Nevada County Supervisors Hank Weston and Ted Owens will ask their fellow Supervisors to sign onto a letter protesting the closures of Malakoff Diggins and SouthYuba River State Parks.

Though not yet closed, these parks are slated for closure either later this year or sometime into next year.

What these Supervisors need is our presence!  We need to show up, en masse, to let Nevada County’s leaders know just how important these parks are to our lives.
