Sponsor-A-Site: Honor Your Favorite Place within the Yuba Watershed
Your Favorite Yuba Places Need You
Bridgeport Crossing. Emerald Pools. Hoyt’s Beach.
These scenic sites in our watershed are why summertime at the Yuba is magical.
Every summer, nearly a million people visit the Yuba watershed to swim, hike, and reconnect with nature. From the iconic crossings to hidden beaches and forest trails, the Yuba offers something for everyone. But with that love comes impact — and our rural parks are feeling the strain.
Unlike urban parks, the public lands within the Yuba watershed lack the infrastructure and services to keep up with the crowds. Litter piles up, especially at popular sites like Purdon Crossing and Oregon Creek. The natural beauty we cherish is at risk.
You Can Help — Right Now

- Support volunteer coordination
- Remove trash and debris from beaches, trails, and riverbanks
- Protect wildlife and water quality
