Fifteen organizations let NMFS know the importance of fish passage for the Yuba River

On February 15, fifteen conservation organizations let the National Marine Fisheries Service know the importance of using their authority under the Endangered Species Act to require volitional passage for spring run Chinook salmon and steelhead above the Army Corp of Engineer’s Daguerre Point and Englebright dams.  The groups explained that the Yuba River is among the best opportunities in all of California to contribute to the recovery of these species.
