On Friday, July 11, the South Yuba River Citizens League gathered with friends, supporters, and river lovers for a truly unforgettable night: Wild for the Yuba 2025. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Schrammsberg Estate in Nevada City, this special Dinner & Auction was an evening full of connections, generosity, and celebration.

From the first bite of the incredible meal prepared by Chef Antonio Ayestaran, to the last round of spirited bidding, the night was alive with the energy of a community united by a shared purpose: supporting the great work of SYRCL’s education department, our Environmentalist of the Year scholarship, our River Ambassador program, and our continued restoration and advocacy work for our beloved Wild & Scenic Yuba River.

We were thrilled to welcome professional auctioneer Freddie Silveria, who brought his signature charm and enthusiasm to the mic, keeping the evening flowing with fun and excitement as our MC.

This special night would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors and auction donors.

Our sincere thanks go to the generous local businesses and talented artists who donated a beautiful array of auction items, and to everyone who bid in support of our mission.
