Calling All Local Student Artists

Share with Your People

Are you a local 6-12 grader interested in sharing your passions for art and the environment with your community? SYRCL’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival wants to display your environmentally themed art at State of the Yuba this year!

In partnership with Yuba Water Agency, Wild & Scenic aims to increase awareness of the intersection between arts and the environment in order to inspire people to take action in their own communities. This year we are excited to showcase youth activism through art to demonstrate the great work that students can do to help further this message.

Wild & Scenic is opening the call for art to students in grades 6-12 from Nevada and Yuba Counties with photography, two-dimensional pieces, or three-dimensional pieces that inspire environmental activism or a love for nature.

Art will be displayed on April 22 at SYRCL’s State of the Yuba event at Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley. The final deadline for submissions is April 3rd, but space is limited so we encourage early submissions.
