Thanks for the Making our 30th Birthday a Success!

The South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) celebrated 30 years of protecting and restoring the Yuba River on Saturday June 8–thanks for joining us! More than 300 attendees braved the triple digit heat to eat, drink, boogie, and bid. All in all, the event was splendid and a huge success. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you, our community; thank you.
If you weren’t able to attend, you can still participate in the fundraising effort! One of our most popular live auction items was a “count me in” effort to support SYRCL’s River Ambassador Program. SYRCL created the River Ambassador program to address the issues of trash, broken glass, dog waste, and the catastrophic potential for wildfire in the South Yuba River canyon through face-to-face conversations with visitors about river stewardship. You can still have the opportunity to support this program —everyone is a winner!

- $30 Supports one hour of the program at one river crossing
- $120 Supports a half day at one river crossing
- $240 Supports one day at one river crossing
- $480 Supports one weekend at one river crossing
- $960 Supports one day at all four river crossings
