Calling all River People!

Are you looking for a meaningful way to get involved with SYRCL?  The SYRCL Street Team seeks outgoing and friendly volunteers who want to represent SYRCL at farmers markets, fairs, and other fun community events. Training will take place May 29 from 6-7 pm at the SYRCL office.  With your help, we can get the word out about our programs and advocacy efforts, keep the public updated on the state of the watershed, and inspire others to get involved too.

Enthusiasm Needed

Are you energetic and friendly?  Do you like to engage with diverse people? If so, you are a perfect fit for the SYRCL Street Team. You don’t need to be a watershed expert (yet!) –  just eager to learn about SYRCL’s work and share that knowledge with others. An enthusiastic attitude is helpful and highly desired. In addition to supporting SYRCL, Street Team members gain valuable marketing and outreach experience.  Have fun and share your love for the Yuba as a part of SYRCL’s brand new Street Team!

Training Provided

SYRCL will be hosting an informational training session on May 29th from 6-7pm.  Anyone interested in the Street Team, now or in the future, is welcome.

If you’re not able to make the May 29th event, or if you would like more information, please contact Jenn Tamo at 530-265-5961 x 211 or jenn@syrcl.org.
