Celebrate the River at the State of the Yuba – April 18

Get inspired, activated and involved at the State of the Yuba, Wednesday, April 18.

Join SYRCL for our 5th annual State of the Yuba, where we will share our work to improve river flows and habitat, report on our Stop Centennial Dam campaign, and most importantly enlist all river lovers to take action to protect and restore the Yuba and Bear Rivers.

Know and Go:

WHAT: SYRCL’s State of the Yuba
WHEN: Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Doors open at 5:00pm. Program from 6–8:00pm.
WHERE: Peace Lutheran Church, 828 W. Main Street, Grass Valley
COST: This event is FREE and open to the public.
FOOD & DRINK: Dinner and drinks available for purchase

SYRCL invites you to celebrate the river and join in honoring distinguished guests. The Centennial Dam Working Group, SYRCL’s Volunteer of the Year, and the California Department of Fish & Wildlife, SYRCL’s Partner of the Year will be recognized for their extraordinary commitment and service to the watershed.

The State of the Yuba is an open invitation to learn about the many ways to get involved and volunteer with SYRCL this coming year. The evening will begin with an open house format, from 5pm-6pm, in which attendees will have an opportunity to meet staff and mingle with river lovers.

Meadow Restoration, Yuba River Cleanup, Advocacy

This FREE event is for all members of the community who want to learn more about SYRCL’s efforts to defend the watershed. In this political climate, engaging in local environmental and community issues is paramount. SYRCL invites you to learn more about how you can take action on behalf of the river at the State of the Yuba.
