For the films featured at the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, this is just the beginning

Over the past 13 years SYRCL’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival has evolved into the largest environmental film festival in North America.  The annual event each January kicks-off WILD & SCENIC ON TOUR to over 140 cities around the globe.  Each Wild & Scenic On Tour event partners with an environmental group, nature center, nonprofit, museum, university, etc. to produce the event as a way for the organization to reach out to their community bringing people together using film to inspire activism.  As an environmental nonprofit who has experienced amazing success with the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, we aim to share our successful film festival with other grassroots organizations worldwide.

Hosting Wild & Scenic On Tour is a proven way for organizations to engage a new and diverse audience (aka new members) AND to raise funds to further a specific campaign.  Film is a powerful medium which can educate, inspire, and motivate people to go out and make a difference in their community and around the world.
