You are invited to the Yuba-Bear Watershed Council Symposium, November 14

The Yuba-Bear Watershed Council will convene on November 14th for a special symposium highlighting presentations from outgoing AmeriCorps members on topics such as river monitoring, meadow restoration, education, and stewardship. This symposium will be a good opportunity to learn about some activities at the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL), Sierra Streams Institute, and other local conservation organizations. The purpose of the Yuba-Bear Watershed Council is to facilitate coordination and collaboration.  SYRCL has initiated this special symposium with the intention of fostering more collaboration among various groups working on assessment and restoration projects in the Yuba River watershed.  The symposium is free and open to the public.

When:   Wednesday, November 14th 

Time:     1:00PM – 4:30PM

Where:  Community Room of the Nevada County Madelyn Helling Library
980 Helling Way, Nevada City, CA 95959

Directions: From Hwy 49/20, take Hwy 49 North toward Downieville.  Turn Right on Maidu Ave, then right on Helling Way.  The community room is up the hill and on the right. Please park in the Rood Center parking lot to allow space for those visiting the library.
