You are cordially invited to SYRCL’s 6th annual State of the Yuba, our report to the citizens of the Yuba watershed. Our open house will enlist guests to take action to protect and restore the Yuba and Bear rivers. We’ll honor the Truckee Donner Land Trust as Partner of the Year and Nathan Hoxie as Volunteer of the Year. Melinda Booth, Executive Director, will unveil the new Five-Year Strategic Plan and SYRCL’s vision for the future. And, to celebrate the South Yuba’s 20th anniversary as a Wild & Scenic River, we’ll convene a panel of special guests who were on the frontline of this major victory.

We hope you can join us to learn more about volunteer opportunities through River Ambassadors, River Monitoring, River Restoration, and SYRCL’s other programs.

This FREE event is for all members of the community who want to know more about SYRCL’s efforts to defend the watershed and how to get involved. Food and beverages available for purchase.
