Spring is here and it’s time to get out to the river!
This weekend Foothills Water Network and American River Watershed Institute are offering a number of exciting activities at the Bear River Campground. The purpose is to increase awareness of the Bear River and the Campground area, as well as to inform the public as to how NID’s proposed Centennial Dam will impact our community and our natural resources.
Join local experts and elected officials for tours of the reservoir site, ecology hikes and family-friendly activities. Come for a hike or stay for the day or overnight — free family camping will be available.
WHAT: Bear River Celebration
WHEN: Saturday, April 2, 10:00am-9:00pm AND Sunday, April 3, 11:00am-8:00pm
