 d for the Yuba – a special Dinner &amp\; Silent Auction – on Friday 
 June 14\, 2019\, from 6:00-9:30pm at the beautiful grounds of Pilot Peak
  Winery in Penn Valley.\n\n\n\nWild for the Yuba is SYRCL’s party for 
 the\nriver with one of the region’s largest silent auctions. This year
 ’s prizes\ninclude an array of excursions to Reno\, San Francisco\, Ta
 hoe\, and Carmel\nValley. Jet Blue and Southwest Airlines have donated a
 irline tickets\, and many\nlocal businesses have shown their love for th
 e Yuba by contributing merchandise\nand gift certificates to tours\, sho
 ps\, services and restaurants. \n\n\n\nThe money raised at Wild for the 
 Yuba supports SYRCL’s summer programs\nstriving to keep the river heal
 thy and safe\, such as River Ambassadors and the\nYuba River Cleanup.\n\
 n\n\nThe event commemorates the South Yuba’s 20th Anniversary as a\nCa
 lifornia Wild &amp\; Scenic River. “We invite our members\,\nvolunteer
 s and the public to join us at Wild\nfor the Yuba as we recognize a majo
 r milestone for our emerald gem\, the\nYuba River\,” said Co-President
  Shana Maziarz. “Twenty years ago\, SYRCL and the\ncommunity won a 16-
 year campaign to protect our region from hydropower dams\nwhen the State
  Legislature declared 39 miles of the South Yuba protected as a\nCalifor
 nia Wild &amp\; Scenic River. Wild\nfor the Yuba is our time to celebrat
 e this incredible victory\,” said Maziarz.\n\n\n\nGuests will be treat
 ed to dinner and appetizers by MeZe Middle Eastern Eatery. Its special W
 ild for the Yuba menu includes mouth-watering items like chicken shawarm
 a\, beef &amp\; lamb kebab\, falafel\, and stuffed squash. Owners Alon a
 nd Tal Greenstein are committed to serving delicious entrees using organ
 ic and locally-sourced ingredients. Their new restaurant is located on M
 ill Street in Grass Valley. “We proudly present tasty food you can fee
 l good about\,” they say on MeZe’s website. \n\n\n\nAcclaimed guitar
 ist Ivan Najera will\nassemble a group of musicians that will entertain 
 guests throughout the\nevening. According to the Sacramento\nPress\, Naj
 era has shared the stage with Jose Feliciano\, Julio Iglesias and\nEnriq
 ue Coria. “Najera’s eclectic style incorporate[s] elements of flamen
 co\,\ncontemporary and classical jazz music with traditional Spanish and
  Latin\nAmerican influences.”\n\n\n\nWild for the Yuba tickets are ava

 river.org. Seating is limited\, and the event is expected to sell-out. A
 dvance tickets are $64 per person for current SYRCL members and $69 for 
 the general public. On June 1\, tickets prices increase to $69 per perso
 n for SYRCL members and $74 for the general public. Reserved seating for
  4 starts at $259 for members and $279 for the general public.\n\n\n\nAd
