  -- From Hwy 49 at Sierra City: Drive 4 1/2 miles to Bassett's Station. 
 Turn left on Gold Lake Hwy and drive 1/2 mile to Packer Lake Road. Turn 
 left and drive 2 miles to Berger Campground.\n\n\n\nBring: water\, food\
 , appropriate walking shoes\, sunscreen\, sunglasses/sun protection. \n\

 nSpanning a total of 292 acres north of Highway 49 and west of Gold Lake
 s Highway\, this project includes degraded quaking aspen stands along Pa
 cker and Samon Creek in the Lost Sierra along Packer Lake Road. The prim
 ary goal is to&nbsp\;restore and enhance 116 acres of aspen habitat\, a
