SUMMARY:Caldor Fire Restoration Tour
DESCRIPTION:Field Trip Goal: The ACCG Monitoring workgroup and the SOFAR
  Landscape Design Team along wtih the Eldorado National Forest hosted a 
 webinar and field tour in July focused on Post Fire Restoration. The sec
 ond field tour to the Caldor Fire is planned where we will continue the 
 discussion on fire management and post fire restoration and recovery.\n\
 n\n\nField Tour: The field tour will be on November 10 and will be limit
 ed to 40 attendees. Members of ACCG and SOFAR will be given priority how
 ever we will maintain a alternates list in case some have to cancel. The
  field tour will be from 0800—1700 and will focus on several field sit
 es highlighting what we have learned throughout the Post Fire Restoratio
 n Symposium. The field tour will meet either at the Amador Ranger Distri
 ct Office in Pioneer or the Supervisors Office in Placerville on the Eld
 orado National Forest. We will then meet up at our first stop and cover 
 a range of topics such as fire management\, post fire restoration planni
 ng\, fuel treatment effectiveness\, prescribed fire or managed fire\, Ca
 lifornia Spotted Owl management\, rare plants all in the context of post
