DESCRIPTION:Join the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) on Wednesd
 ay\, April 23 at the annual State of the Yuba address at the Gold Vibe K
 ombuchary in Grass Valley. State of the Yuba is SYRCL’s free\, open to
  the public report to the watershed community. It’s also an invitation
  to take action for the river.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nRegister here
  for this free event: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEach spring since 2013\,
  in celebration of the Yuba River watershed\, SYRCL hosts State of the Y
 uba. Hear from SYRCL’s team about the condition of the river\, SYRCLâ€
 ™s vision for the future\, education and volunteer opportunities\, curre
 nt projects\, challenges\, recent successes\, and more ways to get invol
 ved.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nAt the event\, attendees will have the opportu
 nity to interact directly with SYRCL staff and ask questions about all o
 ur programs. SYRCL will also be honoring their Volunteer of the Year\, S
 ponsor of the Year\, and Partner of the Year.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nAdditionally
 \, SYRCL’s Education Department will be on hand to announce this yearâ
 €™s Environmentalist of the Year Scholarship Award Winner.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\
 nThe open house will start at 5:30 and showcases SYRCL’s programs and 
 education and volunteer opportunities. The speaking portion of the progr
 am will begin at 6:30.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nSYRCL invites everyone\, inc
 luding SYRCL members and supporters\, river lovers of all kinds\, and an
 yone interested in learning more about SYRCL’s programs to attend the 
 State of the Yuba.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nThe State of the Yuba is
