Do you live, work, or own property in the Sierra Nevada region and are concerned about forest health and community resilience to wildfire? We want to hear from you!

The California Wildfire and Forest Resilience Task Force’s Science Advisory Panel invites you to participate in a survey to understand stakeholder perspectives on improving forest health and community resilience to wildfire in the Sierra-Cascade-Inyo region. The USDA California Climate Hub is supporting the Wildfire and Forest Resilience Task Force’s Science Advisory Panel in developing profiles for each of the four Task Force regions, starting with the Sierra Nevada. The Regional Profile will be a publicly available resource summarizing the socio-ecological context of the region relevant to community and ecosystem resilience to wildfire. Stakeholder engagement to inform the profile includes a broadly distributed stakeholder survey, which will remain open until August 5.

Survey results will be shared in the Sierra Nevada Regional Profile, a publicly available resource that will summarize the socio-ecological context of the region’s resilience to wildfire.
