Click to register for the Cleanup today!

Cleanup sites are filling up quick and you do not want to miss out on the fun! Register today for the 18th Annual Yuba River Cleanup — together we’ve removed nearly 180,000 pounds of trash and recycling from the Yuba and Bear watersheds over the past 17 years!

We are encouraging everyone to participate in the Clean-a-thon after registering — set a goal to raise $100 by asking your friends and family to sponsor your efforts to Cleanup the Yuba, and win our incredible Yuba t-shirt!

The Cleanup and River Ambassador Program have real costs and we need your help to keep the Yuba clean, healthy and safe year-round.

Are you excited to cleanup, but not sure where your volunteerism is needed?  The below sites need dedicated volunteers. Your help will allow us to make sure that the whole watershed is cared for! These sites may require longer drives from Nevada City and Grass Valley.  All restoration sites will require strenuous activity and strong work clothes and shoes. To learn more about all of the Cleanup sites, click the link to view our Cleanup Site List.

If you’re dedicated to keeping the Yuba clean, these sites are for you!

  • Langs Crossing
  • North Yuba

Event Schedule

Date: Saturday, September 19, 2015
Cleanup: 9:00am to 1:00pm

Together we will pull thousands of pounds of garbage out of the Yuba and Bear Rivers. Help us generate as little event-waste as possible.
