Save the Date: River Ambassador training is May 7!

River Ambassadors

SYRCL is gearing up for the fourth summer of the River Ambassador Program and we are seeking enthusiastic Yuba lovers to join our team! River Ambassador volunteers are trained to be hands-on environmental educators and model stewards at four popular river crossings throughout the summer.

Working alongside SYRCL staff and fellow volunteers, River Ambassadors will be out on the river every weekend from Memorial Day through August 31 to raise awareness about threats to Yuba and inspire visitors to take personal action to protect our watershed.

If you are interested in helping expand our strong community of informed river lovers, join us for the upcoming training and orientation!
