River Ambassador Training

July 18 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

FREE

River Ambassadors are volunteer environmental stewards trained to engage South Yuba River State Park visitors in Leave No Trace ethics and personal action to keep the river healthy, clean and safe. Stationed at four heavily utilized river crossings, Ambassadors speak face-to-face with the public to provide the knowledge and tools they need to protect the Yuba.

We are looking to train a few more volunteers to our dedicated team of River Ambassadors for Summer 2017! River Ambassadors are stationed at Highway 49, Bridgeport, and Purdon Crossings each weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day. To RSVP, please sign up on SYRCL’s volunteer calendar by clicking the green button below.
