Keeping the river from being trashed is more than a one-day-a-year activity. That’s why SYRCL’s River Ambassadors are out every weekend this summer – at all four major river crossings – educating visitors about how to keep the river clean and safe. This summer, River Ambassadors have spoken face-to-face with more than 5,550 river visitors about best stewardship practices and fire-safety.
But SYRCL’s Annual Cleanup and River Ambassador programs have real costs – and we need your help to keep them going. Please sign up for the Clean-a-thon and ask your friends and family to sponsor your day cleaning up the river. The donations you raise today will support SYRCL’s work to protect and restore the Yuba River year-round.
We could not keep cigarette butts, dog-poo, and broken glass off the river without your help! It is because of you that we are able to cleanup 80+ miles of shoreline and help keep the emerald waters of the Yuba pristine. To say thanks, we have a number of prizes for the highest earning individual fundraisers. Please accept a small token of our appreciation.
SYRCL staff and board are ineligible for these prizes.
