WSFF Volunteer Registration Open Month of December

Are you excited to volunteer for the Wild & Scenic Film Festival?
Save-the-Date: Registration will be open December 1 through December 31!

We have a vast array of exciting volunteer opportunities including: selling tickets, checking passes, advocating at our outreach booths, ushering, assisting on the tech crew, and many more! Do you have a penchant for cooking or a passion for reducing, reusing and recycling? Perhaps you’d like to work behind the scenes on the set-up or breakdown crew? Whether you enjoy being an integral behind the scenes player, or up front in the heart of the action—we have an opportunity for you.

Mark your calendar and save-the-date for Wild & Scenic Film Festival volunteer registration. Registration opens on Friday, December 1st and will run through Sunday, December 31st. Register early, as shifts will fill quickly.

Looking for a volunteer gig that’s a bit unique? You can apply to host an attending filmmaker or special guest in your house during the festival! From January 11-15, 2018 Nevada City and Grass Valley transform into a hub of art and activism. In order to accommodate all of our filmmakers and special visitors, we are reaching out to our amazing community for support once again and seeking hosts that are able to house one or more of our visiting guests.

If you are interested in becoming a lodging host for the 2018 Wild & Scenic Film Festival, check out the Lodging Host FAQ for more information, then complete our Lodging Host Information Survey

We do our best to match guests appropriately with hosts based on preferences that each party provides. All you need in order to be a host is a guest room, cottage, or other appropriate space you would be willing to share during the festival.

Please note, we cannot guarantee that your generosity will result in a placement, it is dependent upon how many filmmakers are able to attend.  We aim to finalize placements by late December.  Thanks for your understanding.
