Let’s Fill the Room Today at 4:30!

Did you miss the scoping meeting in Auburn?
Check out this live stream feed of USACE’s presentation.

Join SYRCL’s Dam Watchdog team today in Grass Valley at the Army Corps of Engineers’s (USACE) public scoping meeting for the Centennial Dam project. This is your chance to show the USACE and Nevada Irrigation District (NID) that concerned citizens are indeed watchdogging the environmental review process of this controversial project.

We hope to turn out as many Dam Watchdogs as possible and for people to engage in the public process. This second of two scoping meetings is the community’s opportunity to define the range of environmental consequences and possible alternatives to be studied in the Corps’ Environmental Impact Statement. This process is required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
