Join SYRCL and over 500 volunteers as we embark on the 17th Annual Yuba River Cleanup & Restoration Day—together we’ve removed nearly 160,000 pounds of trash and recycling from the Yuba and Bear watersheds over the past 16 years!

Click to register for your favorite site today and please participate in the Clean-a-thon when you register—ask your friends and family to sponsor your efforts to keep the river clean, and win great prizes, too!

The Cleanup and River Ambassador Program have real costs and we need your help to keep them going.  Create a Cleanup team with your friends or coworkers and be SYRCL’s first “Cleanup Team of the Year”!  The team who raises the most money in support of the Yuba River Cleanup will be memorialized at the Cleanup celebration and have a team picture displayed in the SYRCL office.

Event Schedule

Date: Saturday, September 20, 2014
Cleanup: 9:00am to Noon
Celebration: Noon – 3:30pm

Afterwards, please join us for a free BBQ, cold drinks, live music with Ishaan Reyna, an amazing Haute Trash fashion show, and the 4th Annual Stone Skipping Contest at Bridgeport, South Yuba River State Park!

Celebrating Our Partners

The Yuba River Cleanup & Restoration Day is one SYRCL’s biggest community events.  With over 500 volunteers, 35 cleanup sites, 90 miles of stream bank and thousands of pounds of trash and recycling removed from the Yuba and Bear watersheds every year, SYRCL wanted to take a moment and thank all of our dedicated Cleanup partners.  Partners help with trash removal, cleanup site hosting and our celebration party.

The Cleanup would not be possible without your support and you all deserve a big THANK YOU for helping to make our rivers healthier, cleaner and safer for all.  Thank you to the many more individuals, businesses and organizations that have sponsored and participated in the Cleanup as well.  It takes a village to keep a river clean and healthy.
