SYRCL’s first River Ambassador led restoration project aims to reduce fire risk at Hoyt’s Crossing on the South Yuba River; volunteer for this important effort! Join the River Ambassador team August 26th from 9am-12pm for Scotch Broom removal, fire risk and prevention presentation, and a dip in the Yuba River!

The day will include a 1-mile hike to the Hoyt’s Crossing, scotch broom removal, a presentation by River Captain, Andrew Collins-Anderson, about fire danger in the river canyon, a refreshing swim in the Yuba, and a 1-mile return hike to the parking lot.
