Celebrate Jason Rainey’s Leadership at Summer Solstice Circus
Beyond Fire Tribe and The South Yuba River Citizen’s League invites you to… “Summer Solstice Circus” Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Washington Hotel from 6 – 10:30 pm. 
Join us to watch, play, and celebrate the solstice, along with honoring Jason Rainey’s six incredible years at the helm of SYRCL as Executive Director. Keep current with SYRCL’s projects and have an opportunity to sign up to volunteer.
The evening begins at six pm in the Washington Hotel and Café (http://washingtonhotel.net/) with dinner available for purchase, and the members of Nevada County’s Beyond Fire Tribe and Circus Jam will be offering informal participatory instruction, experimentation, and discussion of the circus arts: poi, rope dart, hula hoops, juggling, acro yoga. A kaleidescope of music and spoken-word will Entertain and dazzle you!
Put the day to rest with SambaDrop and after dark, the fires will be lit for a hazardously hot, magically mysterious, sultry, smoky, and spectacular performance by Beyond Fire Tribe & Friends. Stay after the fire show to be enticed by Bowtie Beauties Burlesque and lose yourself in the sumptuous beats of local and regional musicians all performing for the spirit of the Yuba!
