Wild & Scenic Tours the Nation

It’s only been four months since the film festival in Nevada City but the touring program of Wild & Scenic has already inspired audiences in 48 cities across the United Sates including one event in Kimberley, BC, our first international venue!

By December, close to 95 cities will have played the films of Wild & Scenic in an effort to connect people to their environment giving them a sense of place and their role in that relationship! Google Alerts for “Wild & Scenic” generate daily hits for press releases, news articles, and blog posts for tour venues happening all over the country.

Just recently, two SYRCL members were vacationing independently on Hawaii’s big island when each noticed a theater marquee in Kainaliu promoting a tour screening for Wild & Scenic hosted by the Hawaii Island Land Trust. Miles and watersheds away from home, they were connected to the Kainalui community thru film and reminded of the one watershed that we share. Share your Wild & Scenic story.
